The importance of an adviser to spend more time client facing is essential for any business. We aim to help maximise this by providing the back up and support required.

Our Goal is to offer a bespoke support service to Financial Advisers within the constantly changing financial services sector. Financial Advisers, especially small businesses, can find recruiting the right paraplanner difficult, expensive and time consuming.

Outsourcing can be the preferred solution to many developing businesses that then have the advantage of paying for what they require rather than bearing the ongoing costs of a full time employee.

Our costs and charges can be a driving force for advisers to demonstrate to their client the professionalism and skills required to offer suitable advice. This then can help justify the fees charged to the client. We aim to make a positive impact on the business of everyone who uses our services. We tailor our services to suit the needs of each individual client.

About Heidi

Heidi Witham - Absolute ParaplanningHeidi Witham joined the world of financial services in 2001 working for Royal London Mutual Insurance Society and then specialised in administration roles for a variety of small/medium sized IFA practices including a one to one support service to a Financial Adviser within a national accountancy firm.

In 2006 Heidi became a paraplanner for a leading regional IFA practice where she honed her skills and knowledge before bravely going it alone and establishing Absolute Paraplanning in August 2008.

Absolute Paraplanning was borne out of a desire for Heidi to take control of her own destiny, having been through many upheavals in employed roles, such as company mergers and relocations. So the website was set up and on the back of a New Model Adviser Blog and a lot of lonely and desperate networking at countless seminars, Heidi finally secured her very first client.

Absolute Paraplanning has steadily grown ever since and Heidi now has a small team of handpicked Paraplanners who are at least Diploma qualified and heading toward Chartered and Certified status, who help with the ever-increasing demand for her services.

Heidi has the Diploma in Financial Planning and in 2009 was involved in the Financial Services Skills Council development of National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Paraplanning.

Full details of Heidi’s history can be found on LinkedIn.

About Alesha

Alesha joined the Financial Services Industry in 2003 as an Administrator. After starting the CII certificate in Financial Planning she felt that a Paraplanning role was where she best belonged. So in 2005 she switched sides from provider to a local IFA firm in Coulsdon as a trainee Paraplanner where she completed the certificate shortly after joining, graduating to a fully-fledged Paraplanner.  So followed various roles in the city enjoying all the charm that the big smoke has to offer.

After having her daughter in 2011, Alesha decided it was a good time to extend her skill base and to attempt the Diploma in Financial Planning. Eighteen months later she achieved this goal and is now working towards Chartered status.

After a lot of years of living in the suburbs of the city, Alesha decided to buy a house by the coast and made the big move out of the concrete jungle. She decided to look for something that would allow her to balance her work life and home life. She needed a new challenge and wanted something that would allow her to work with different firms in all areas of Financial Planning. Along came Heidi and Absolute Paraplanning and the rest is history.
